Time Warp Memories
The Beatles.
The 1960's was a time of hysteria. A time when hysteria meant either an Alien Invasion or the Beatles were coming to town. Perhaps both.
Beatlemania was not just a new word it was a new phenomenon.
This page is dedicated to that time when we were young and crazy fans of those long haired Hippies our parents tried to warn us about.
Lets travel back in time and relive a few of those memories now and watch the Beatles sing some of our favorite songs.

Beatles Yellow Submarine history

The British Invasion Bands
News Flash

Walt Disney Co is going to remake the zany 1960s Beatles movie "Yellow Submarine" in 3-D in a deal with the band's company Apple Corps.

Disney Studios chairman Dick Cook said on Friday the new "Yellow Submarine" will be directed by Oscar-winning director Robert Zemeckis using the same motion-capture effects he employed in the movie "Polar Express."

It will incorporate the 16 Beatles songs and recordings from the original film. No release date was announced.

The original film, about a peaceful, music-loving underwater community that is attacked by music hating "blue meanies", was released in the U.S. in 1968.

The Disney film project extends a wave of "Beatlemania" ushered in by the release of the remastered edition of the Fab Four's albums.

1962: The Beatles auditioned for producer George Martin at EMI Records in London. They already had been turned down by Decca. EMI signed the group a month later. (If first you don't succeed, try again. Imagine the world without the Beatles music to enjoy)
